Grave Digging at Brookwood

Every grave at Brookwood is dug by hand in the traditional way. We use no machinery at all. Depending on the choice of coffin or casket, graves are dug either as a rectangular opening for a casket (see photo on the left) or specially shaped for coffins (see photo on lower left).
