Grave Searches
Following
the digitization of our records, we can assist with locating graves within the
cemetery. There is a charge for this service, which will be
used to assist with restoration and maintenance projects in the cemetery
grounds.
Currently our charges for this service are as follows:
"Basic" @ £12.00 taking 1-2 weeks
This service will confirm whether the deceased is buried at Brookwood and includes a copy of the entry from the burial register.
"Standard" @ £35.00 taking 1-2 weeks
This service includes a copy of the entry from the burial registers and a photograph of the memorial (where possible). The entry from the burial registers may include additional information of interest to the enquirer (such as place of death).
"Express" @ £52.00 undertaken as soon as possible
This service includes a copy of the entry from the burial registers and a photograph of the memorial (where possible). The entry from the burial registers may include additional information of interest to the enquirer (such as place of death).
Please provide as much detail as possible, ideally with the full name of the deceased and their date of death or burial. Any additional information will assist us in the search.
We can also accept payment by debit or credit card. However please note that credit card transactions are subject to a 4% handling fee (charged to us by the credit card companies).
Then send us this information by post, enclosing your cheque (made payable to "Brookwood Cemetery Restoration Fund") to:
